Converse luminous sunglasses

Converse history says it started in 1908 with Marquis Mills Converse and his Massachusetts rubber shoe company. They also made tyres, but Converse got to grips with Chuck Taylor, shoes and the then young game of basketball in a bigger way. And here developed the idea of independence and being different to what everyone else did. It stayed. Converse is the spirit of rebellion and so there’s no surprise it’s favoured by skaters and rockers. Converse is still talking.

Milan Glasses show (Mido) seems to be lingering longer in my memory longer than normal. The show was so huge we knew it is always going to be impossible to get around to everyone and inevitably you miss some nuggets. The Converse luminous sunglasses were one of them we missed.

Sunglasses that glow in the dark may set off the obvious question of why would you want to wear sunglasses in the dark in the first place ? But think about it, there are some possibilities...

About the Line:
Converse is famous for its strength and clarity of design. Because of its young, style conscious demographic, it's important that Converse Eyewear stays current with fashion trends, but also stays true to some of the more classic elements of the Converse brand that have made it successful for so many years.

In the beginning, a basketball had laces. Tracks were made of cinders and tennis rackets were made of wood. Converse was there from the start, constantly rethinking, tweaking and perfecting- creating innovations that influenced the way sports were played. The story continues with products that carry on a tradition founded nearly a century ago…like Converse Eyewear.

This is a great eyewear product and probably the most fun  piece at the show.
